About
Father of 5 and husband to Judy, Jon is a mainstay of the Australian Pentecostal Church Culture. His measured approach and excellence in research shows a passion for intelligent, reasoned Christianity.
His first book, Revelation Reclaimed, aims to dismantle the miseducation that is often associated with the Biblical book of Revelation. It reveals that which Jon is most keen to do, and that is to inform and educate the Christian community on how to read their most sacred text.

Hi Jon,
Paternoster sent a free copy of ‘Revelation Reclaimed’ to me yesterday, so I read it today. Excellent – because it does exactly what it says on the cover! It’s amazing how much clarity you’ve packed into such a tight space – like parking a truckload of goods in a motorcycle bay.
I thought your approach was clear, engaging and persuasive. You begin with the most bizarre and unlikely approaches and convincingly point out why they are inadequate without alienating the reader. Then take us on a journey through some extremely wise persectives that would help most patient readers to pick up a bunch of mislaid keys that will actually open the book up to eager readers in every generation. Well done! Besides all that I have more or less drawn the same conclusions you do about the interpretation of Revelation, whilst adopting a more Postmillennial eschatological hope than most people I know. But then, it seems that you probably take the same line yourself secretly, apart from a few wise precautions which need to be voiced.
Thanks for writing this. I will strongly recommend it to others.
